When Sr. Pintos smokes your fish:
  • No excess overweight for shipping because of packaging and ice
  • No spoilage problems - your fish is processed for shelflife
  • Absolutely no guesswork!
    • You know your fish was properly brined to preserve freshness and flavor
    • After the brining process it is marinated with pineapple juice, unrefined brown sugar (peloncillo) and special seasoning for twelve hours
    • It is slow smoked in our special rub by our small electric temperature controlled ovens using pure mango wood (the smoke boxes are inside) which creates our unique gourmet taste.
    • In order to maintain high quality standards each batch is individually monitored
        The most used fish from this area is marlin, sailfish, tuna or Spanish mackerel. Each one has its own unique characteristics.
        When we smoke your fish, a minimum of 4 kilos (8.8 pounds) is required. We charge $120ºº pesos per kilo for the process described above. Price includes total processing, packaging and documentation. Your fish will be ready for you 48 hours after you deliver it.
       We will provide you with various recipes that will introduce you to a whole new world of taste and certainly impress your friends.
